“Besides Jenna Ortega’s acting, it’s pretty bad. The Addams Family into something that it is not. With all the references to social media, it really pissed me off. I’m tired of movies and TV shows that try so hard to appeal to Gen Zers: “you look like a real Instagram filter.” Like, WTF is this dialogue? It’s terrible. No one in my generation talks like that. Why couldn’t the creators of the show just do what the creators of the Peanuts film made for Peanuts but for Wednesday And The Addams Family instead? Introduce The Addams Family to new people, while keeping the charm of the original.”
“Oh yeah, and the romance sucked. I don’t understand why these two guys are so in love with Wednesday when she’s so unlikeable. There’s also Wednesday and Morticia having issues with each other so that all the interest of The Addams Family Even though they are a little weird, they are a loving family and have no problems with each other.”
