Candace Cameron Bure Changes Christmas Movie Plans With Cameron Mathison

Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison are set to star in a Christmas movie later this year, but it’s not the one they originally expected to make.

The Great American Family cable channel announced Wednesday that Cameron Bure and Mathison will make their co-starring debuts in Sweet Christmas Housean original Christmas movie that will air on the network later this year. The project is currently in production and will be part of the fourth annual Great American Christmas programming block.

Hailing from Syrup Studios and Candy Rock Entertainment, Sweet Christmas House M&A lawyer Sophie Marlow (Cameron Bure) returns to her Washington state hometown after her late uncle leaves her 60 percent of his maple forest property. She reconnects with her long-lost childhood friend Sam (Mathison), who is left with the remaining 40 percent of the property.

Paula Elle is directing the film from a screenplay by Kevin Commins and Robin Dunne. Mick MacKay is producing the film, while executive producers include Cameron Bure, Ford Englerth, Jeffery Brooks, Holly A. Hines, Eric Jarboe, Gerald Webb, Trevor McWhinney, Paula Elle and Martin Wood.

“We’ve been waiting 15 years to make a Christmas movie together and it’s finally happening!” Cameron Bure posted on Instagramnext to a photo of her with Mathison.

Last month, Great American Family announced that the two artists would star together in an original holiday film titled Bells, wedding bells The film, set for release in November, was to focus on Cameron Bure, who plays a wedding planner at an inn who struggles to pull off a lavish ceremony two weeks before Christmas.

Cameron Bure is also set to star in A less crowded Christmaswhich has already been shot. This film and Sweet Christmas House will air on Great American Family this year, with premiere dates to be announced soon. Additionally, she stars in the network’s feature film The Mysteries of Ainsley McGregor: A Plea for the Winemakerwhich will premiere on October 4.

The actress played DJ Tanner in Full house and its spin-off series The house fullShe was also known for her series of Christmas movies for Hallmark Channel before ending her partnership with that network and joining Great American Family as chief content officer in 2022.

Mathison is known for his long-running roles in All my children And General Hospital.
