Fantasy Film Room: Expect offenses to use more TEs, fewer WRs in 2024 | Sports Updates

NFL Kickoff Night is here and a new season is about to kick off. Speaking of new stuff, we’re excited to launch “Fantasy Film Room” with Matt Harmon and Nate Tice. On Thursdays all season long, Harmon and Tice will fuse trending fantasy topics with hard-hitting analysis from their film studies. All with the goal of making you a smarter, better fantasy manager.

In the first episode, Harmon discusses the growing trend of NFL offenses using heavier formations with more TEs and fewer WRs. Tice explains why this is a reaction to how defenses have evolved over the years. Both believe this shift could help elevate the level of TEs in fantasy and maximize targeting opportunities for high-level WRs.

In the second segment, Tice shares what he’s excited about heading into Week 1 and dissects two under-discussed running games. To round out the show, Harmon and Tice preview the Ravens-Chiefs and Packers-Eagles games and provide their favorite bets on each:

(34:15) – Nate is interested in this: the Bills running game, the “spread bully”
