Ian McShane, Wife Honored at St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Fundraiser

Ian McShane and his wife Gwen Humble McShane have a date booked under the stars.

St. Vincent Meals on Wheels – the organization that prepares and delivers nutritious meals to homebound seniors and other vulnerable Los Angeles residents – will host its fundraising gala, Hollywood Under the Stars, on the lot of Paramount Pictures on June 22. The McShanes, long-time donors and St. Vincent supporters will be recognized that evening for their contributions over the decades.

“My wife Gwen and I are incredibly honored to call ourselves long-time supporters of St. Vincent Meals on Wheels. Founded by Sister Alice Marie Quinn, the program’s mission is to provide food and connection to those in need,” the couple shared in a joint statement. “We are impressed by the dedicated staff and selfless volunteers who not only deliver meals and birthday cakes to the homebound and elderly, but also conduct daily wellness checks and even provide meals to pets. Giving Angelenos food and kindness unites us all in honor of Sister Alice Marie Quinn.

The event, hosted by Susan Hirasuna and E-Kan Soong, will feature nearly a dozen Los Angeles chefs and pastry chefs offering a selection of menu items. A VIP hour will feature Chef Bret Thompson and Pez Coastal Kitchen with others featured including Gino Angelini and Angelini Osteria, Mihir Lad and Arth Bar + Kitchen, Keith Corbin and Alta Adams, Sam Marvin and Echo & Rig , Nika Shoemaker-Machado and Georgia’s Restaurant, Gloria Chicas and Room Service Neighborhood, Francesco Zimone and L’antica Pizzeria da Michele, as well as Raphael Francois and Tesse.

Desserts will be provided by Bertha Mae’s Brownie Co., Läderach Chocolate, Lark Cake Shop and Malibu Meringue. Entertainment will be provided by a 10-piece live band, featuring the Bois All-Stars.
