Jennifer Lopez opened up about “negativity” in a new edition of her newsletter, On the J.Lo.
The newsletter arrives after the release of his new film Atlas. Despite poor reviews, the new Netflix film marks Jennifer’s fourth success. streaming hit in two years, after being seen around 60 million times. It stars J.Lo as Atlas Shepherd, a counterterrorism agent who must work against an AI soldier.
“Hello everyone, I just heard some excellent news and it’s thanks to YOU!!” She wrote. “ATLAS is still world number 1 this week!!! Thank you all!!!”
In her newsletter, Jennifer continues: “It may seem like there’s a lot of negativity in the world right now… but don’t let the voices of a few drown out the fact that there is so much love out there Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
The message is a marked departure from J.Lo’s previous newsletter, in which she announced that her upcoming budget tour This Is Me… Live had been canceled. “I am absolutely sick and devastated that I let you down,” she wrote, with a statement adding: “Jennifer is taking time to be with her children, family and close friends.”
Of course, all of this is happening amid widespread speculation about the state of her marriage to Ben Affleck. Both were photography kissing each other on the cheek earlier this week at Ben’s son’s basketball game, but have yet to officially comment on the rumors.
Atlas is now streaming on Netflix.
