Justin and Hailey Bieber are officially parents of a baby boy!
The couple announced on social media Friday night that they had welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber.
“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” the “Love Yourself” singer wrote on Instagram. Hailey also shared her husband’s post on her Instagram Story, adding a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.
Justin and his model-turned-beauty mogul wife Hailey publicly revealed they were expecting their first child together in May, post a video and a series of photos on Instagram at the time.
The couple have been married since September 2018, after a brief engagement.
Earlier this summer in July, Hailey opened up about her pregnancy and motherhood in an interview with W Magazine.
“At first [of pregnancy]“It was very emotional for me. I thought, ‘I love this human being so much. How can I bring someone else into this?’” said Stephen Baldwin’s daughter. “I try to enjoy these days when it’s just the two of us, Justin and I.”
She also shared that she was able to keep her pregnancy a secret for a while because she “stayed small for a long time,” adding, “I didn’t really have a belly until I was six months pregnant… I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
“I probably could have kept it a secret until the end, but I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy in public,” Hailey continued. “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel right. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
