Kevin Feige Talks Mahershala Ali’s R-Rated ‘Trying to Crack’

As a new Blade As the film continues its long gestation process, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige offers insight into the company’s approach to the reboot.

Feige sat down with BlackTree TV to promote the release of the Disney film on July 26 Deadpool and Wolverine. During the interview published on Saturday, the film’s producer was asked about the ongoing development of a new Bladewhich was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019 with Mahershala Ali attached to star as the half-vampire character.

Weiser said Ali signed on for Blade:“That deal closed in 2019, and they still haven’t filmed it, which is pretty much the craziest thing in my professional experience.”
