Reservoir Dogs And Kill Bill Actor Michael Madsen was arrested in Malibu, California, on charges of domestic violence before being released from prison.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department a booking report from August 18 said Michael Soren Madsen, 66, was booked into the Malibu/Lost Hills police station at 1:40 a.m. after an arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence 25 minutes earlier.
Madsen was released on $20,000 bail after posting surety. No information on a later court date was provided. The domestic violence charge reportedly includes an allegation of using force against a common-law partner.
A conviction for a domestic violence offense can result in a sentence ranging from jail time to a protective restraining order.
Madsen, a veteran actor of more than 200 films, has inherited the tough guy stereotype. He is best known for playing the evil Mr. Blonde in Reservoir dogs. Madsen also played Budd, the sword-wielding thug in Kill Bill Vol. 1 And 2.
Madsen has appeared in a number of Tarantino films, most recently in 2019. Once Upon a Time in HollywoodHe also appears in the 2019 documentary QT8: The first eightTara Wood’s film examines Tarantino’s library with a number of interviews with the writer-director’s stars.
