Video Game Movie Year Zero Is In The Works

The afterlife Director Hasraf “HaZ” Dulull is set to produce and direct an animated feature film based on Mutant: Year Zero The Road to Edena tactical adventure video game.

The Mutant: Year Zero The film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where an unlikely team of mutant animals, led by a spirited duck and a gruff boar, embark on a dangerous mission to recover a vital generator stolen from their sanctuary, the Ark. Together, the scavengers uncover a deeper truth behind the Ark’s divisions, confront the Ancient One’s oppressive regime, and uncover secrets that could reshape their dystopian existence.

Dolph Lundgren and Ian McElhinney have joined the voice cast of the animated film. Dulull, who got his start as a visual effects supervisor on films such as The black Knight And Hellboy 2, In recent years he has made films such as Origin unknownwith Katee Sackhoff, her first film, The afterlife, and more recently Max beyond, the animated sci-fi action film.

Heroic Signatures considers Dulull’s next project to be the first feature-length animated film for the Mutant: Year Zero franchise. The director will use Unreal Engine 5 to expand the Mutant: Year Zero The Road to Eden game towards a big screen experience.

The Mutant: Year Zero The game film will also be produced by Heroic Signatures President Fred Malmberg and Pathfinder Founding Partner Mark Wheeler.

“We can’t wait for fans to get a glimpse of what we’ve been working on to bring Mutant: Year Zero “We decided to bring Heroic to life as an animated feature film. Our goal at Heroic is to constantly challenge ourselves to create new and expanded experiences across different mediums, based on our characters and adventurous stories, for both existing and new fans,” Malmberg said in a statement.

Developed by HaZimation and Northern Ireland Screen, producer Paula Crickard and composer Edward White are also part of the creative team. Heroic Signatures, known for its iconic intellectual property including Conan the Barbarianwill be at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend for a panel on comic books.
