Week 1 Reactions: Cam Ward is a Heisman candidate, Big Ten has depth, Florida is toast | College Football Power Hour

The first week of the 2024 college football season is (mostly) in the books, and things are looking good for Georgia, Notre Dame and Miami, while the season is already off to a rocky start for Clemson and Florida.

Caroline Fenton, Jason Fitz and Adam Breneman kick off this Week 1 edition of the College Football Time with reactions to all of Saturday’s big games. Notre Dame and Riley Leonard got a big road win in College Station against the Texas A&M Aggies. Clemson got beat by another elite team, Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs. Meanwhile in Gainesville, Cam Ward and the Miami Hurricanes made Billy Napier’s Gators team look lifeless in what looks to be a long season for Florida.

The team also shares its stock report with a stock rise on Penn State, a surprising stock decline on an Iowa team that scored 40 points on Illinois State and praise for Vanderbilt after a rare statement win.
