Daytime Emmys 2024: Complete list of winners

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) announced the first of two rounds of this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, with Dick Van Dyke making history.

The 98-year-old actor became the oldest person to win a Daytime Emmy for his performance in Days of our lives.

General Hospital won the most awards of the evening, with four trophies for best direction, best screenplay, best supporting actor (Robert Gossett) and best drama series.

Entertainment tonight hosts Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner returned to host this year’s ceremony, after hosting the evening in 2022 and 2023. The program also won two awards, for Best Entertainment News Series and for Best TV Personalities. day.

Michelle Stafford won Best Leading Performance for her role in The Young and the Restlessand Thorsten Kaye won Best Actor for his role as Ridge Forrester in Love glory and beauty. The two series tied for the most nominations at this year’s ceremony at 12.

The second half of the awards ceremony – Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy Awards – will be presented on Saturday, June 8 and streamed on The Emmys apps and on watch.TheEmmys.tv.

The Hollywood Reporter is nominated for two awards at Saturday’s ceremony, for best popular arts and cultural program and for best short program award Off-script with the Hollywood Reporter And Hollywood Workshop: Rob Pickensrespectively.
