Deputies are investigating a reported car theft in Greene County early Wednesday morning.

News Center 7’s Taylor Robertson reported that Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers and Greene County Sheriff’s deputies blocked off the area of Conley and Cedarville Yellow Springs roads.
An OSHP spokesperson said state troopers were assisting the Greene County Sheriff’s Office after a report of a stolen car early Wednesday morning.
Photos from the scene show the car sustained damage to the front passenger side.
When our news team arrived on scene, the car was attached to a tow truck and was clearing the scene.
As shown on 7’s Daybreak News Centera giant tire track formed on the road and a road sign was hit.

A large police presence was reported in Greene County early Wednesday morning.

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers and Greene County Sheriff’s deputies are searching the area of Cedarville Yellow Springs Road and US 42.
A stolen vehicle was reported in the Cedarville area, an OSHP spokesperson told News Center 7.
Initial traffic from the scanners indicated they were sent around 5 a.m.
