“My outfits are always at the service of performance” We are here Star Sasha Velor shares how she chooses her outfit for a big Pride Month concert.

Before taking the stage at the Los Angeles Pride in the Park concert on June 8 – with Ricky Martin headlining – the RuPaul’s Drag Race alumna explained the thought process behind choosing her drag ensembles during a Zoom call Saturday morning.

“I’m kind of doing a twist on a beauty pageant winner who can’t let go of her crown,” the drag queen said of the performance and the outfit she wore for the event. SATURDAY. “I can’t relate at all, it’s just pure fiction,” joked Velour, who took the stage a few hours later with her colleague. Velor completed her glam with glittery eyeshadow and, of course, dramatic eyeliner. “When I don’t have a cat’s eye pulled out, I just don’t feel like myself,” she explained.
