As is house tradition, Thom Browne’s 2024 Met Gala team posed for a group photo before the carpet, shared exclusively with The Hollywood Reporter.

They gathered for their class photo at the Pierre New York Hotel, wearing pieces that tackled the night’s “Le Jardin du Temps” dress code and also spoke to laser-sharp vision and cool effortless from Browne. Among the group of nine, natural details, tiles and lots of black and white are on display.
Among the best-dressed stars of the evening, Erivo stunned in a black sequined Thom Browne ensemble consisting of a tailored jacket and skirt with a whimsical overlay of 2,000 petals of pink silk moiré and 3D beaded insects. It is topped with a black silk satin tie. THE Wicked The star had already walked the carpet at the 2017 Met Gala wearing Thom Browne.
Ferguson’s high-necked look is dressed in green and blue Swarovski crystal finials and black raffia corbels. Its manufacture required 30 people and 8,500 hours, and was made from 60,000 crystals and 7,000 folded petals. She paired it with a voluminous cape that also featured raven imagery.
Seventy artisans were needed to create Hadid’s cascading corset dress, adorned with three-dimensional yellow roses, green vines and thorns.
Mason sported an undone Thom Browne suit style with frayed edge pants, a silk satin cummerbund and an oversized black deconstructed denim tweed tailcoat. He also rose above the crowd with platform astronaut boots in black and white patent leather with the designer’s signature stripes.
Browne, who recently hosted an equally prestigious party in Los Angeles to celebrate his partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, is the current president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
