Reba McEntire to Host 59th Academy of Country Music Awards

Reba McEntire was revealed as the host of the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on May 16.

The ceremony marks the 17th time McEntire has hosted the awards ceremony – the largest of any artist. The country legend is also expected to take the stage for a special performance featuring new music.

“I’m thrilled to be able to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time! McEntire said in a statement. “What an honor to have been a part of the past, present and now future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everyone on May 16th! »

McEntire has won 16 ACM Awards throughout her career, as well as nine nominations for ACM Entertainer of the Year, including a win in 1994. She also holds the record for the most nominations for the female artist of the year.

The 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards will air live on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. PDT.

The Academy of Country Music Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge which also owns The Hollywood Reporter.
