“Red, white and blue” projections to raise funds for access to abortion

The Oscar-nominated short film Red, white and bluewhich addresses abortion issues in the United States, will benefit from an impactful campaign thanks to Level Forward.

The film, directed by Nazrin Choudhury, follows a young mother living paycheck to paycheck and forced to cross state lines in search of an abortion.

The campaign will benefit gender justice organizations and abortion access funds, with partners including Supermajority Ed Fund, IGNITE, Vote Mama, Pregnancy Justice, She the People, One Fair Wage and New York Abortion Access Fund .

The first stakeholder screening will take place in New York at the Metrograph Theater on June 14, followed by a conversation with Choudhury and special guests including Taylor Salditch, executive director of the Supermajority Ed Fund, and Chelsea Williams-Diggs, director executive of New York. Abortion Access Fund. Host committee members include Abigail E. Disney, Jane Fonda and Mark Ruffalo, among others.
