Gotham TV Awards to honor Mariska Hargitay, Peter Morgan and Lulu Wang

Mariska Hargitay, Peter Morgan and Lulu Wang are set to be honored at the inaugural Gotham TV Awards on June 4.

Hargitay will receive the birthday tribute for his work on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Hargitay played Captain Olivia Benson in over 550 episodes. In addition to honoring Hargitay’s career, the Gotham TV Awards will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the NBC drama series.

Morgan will receive the creator’s tribute for The crown, which will also be in the spotlight for its sixth and final season on Netflix.

Expatriates creator Wang will receive the Spotlight Tribute at the Gotham TV Awards for her work adapting Janice YK Lee’s novel into the Prime Video series.

Recipients of the tribute will be honored at the inaugural Gotham TV Awards ceremony, which will take place in person at 7 p.m. on June 4 at Cipriani 25 in New York.
