A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged with child abuse after allegedly assaulting a 28-year-old woman in front of a child under the age of 14.
The alleged incident happened at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday in Pearl City. The man was positively identified and arrested shortly thereafter without incident at 6:28 p.m.
The man is in police custody pending investigation. His bail was set at $2,000
