Pauly Shore said he “was up all night crying” because Richard Simmons continued to publicly distance himself from a biopic that would star Shore as the fitness guru.

Simmons previously said he was not involved in the biopic and did not give Shore “permission,” just after it was announced that a feature film about the fitness icon, backed by the organization Wolper, was in development.

Simmons also recently shared on his social media that he himself is in talks with studios to work on his own separate biopic about his life.
